The Ganz ZN-C2M 1080p True Day/Night CS-Mount IP Camera is a high performance H.264 network camera, designed for demanding security installations. H.264 is a standard for video compression and is currently one of the most commonly used formats for recording, compression, and distribution of high definition video. This camera delivers crisp, clear images in 1080p high definition video, thanks to its top quality progressive-scan CMOS sensor and advanced image processing. It features a mechanical IR cut filter, which enables color video in high and low light conditions, as well as IR sensitivity in "night" mode. The optimal Power over Ethernet (IEEE 802.3af) supports power to the camera to be delivered via the network, eliminating the need for a power outlet and reducing installation costs. The Ganz PixelPro camera offers a comprehensive set of network security and management features. This includes support for port based network control, which allows the camera to be connected to a network secured with this control and HTTPS encryption, which provides a secure channel between camera and application. It also enables authentication of the video source. Provided with the camera is the powerful Ganz CMS Client Software that manages the camera which is provided on the Installation CD. This camera also features a DC auto Iris output, is ONVIF compliant, and is compatible with Computar® Megapixel Lenses. You may also insert a Micro SD card, up to 16GB (sold separately), directly into the camera to record events locally. To use the Power over Ethernet function, be sure to get an Ethernet Cable. If you choose to use standard DC power, be sure to get BNC Cable that is long enough so you are able to place the camera where you would like.

Proset:
Ganz's unique ProSet feature allows you to set up your new camera in a remarkably short time. Just install your camera and view its video on a PC, then aim the camera to get the field of view you desire. Now zoom in on one subject and adjust for sharp focus. That's it! All the normally laborious set up processes are done simply from your PC.
Connect to a Digital Video Recorder:
Old video surveillance systems used to require a remote access system, a camera multiplexer; a time-lapse VCR, and an unlimited supply of videotapes for remote viewing and storing video from a multi-camera system. Now you can get the capabilities of all those products in one with a Digital Video Recorder (DVR). By connecting up to four cameras to a DVR, you will be able to record and review video footage of activity around your property. You can even remotely access your video footage using a Network Digital Video Recorder (NDVR).
Resolution:
Resolution is the amount of horizontal TV lines that make up a picture, so the higher the number of the resolution, the better clarity your picture will have. Note that the monitor or recording device you use must have a resolution equal to or greater than the resolution of the camera, as it will do you no good to have a camera that can output in 540 lines of resolution but have a monitor or recording devices that only picks up images at 300 lines of resolution.
