This USB Adapter allows you to avoid having to plug your microphone into a 3.5mm jack. Many laptops do not have a line-in jack, or the output of the Voice Tracker may be too strong, causing clipping, which will ruin speech recognition. This full-duplex USB adapter is specially modified to reduce the signal by a factor of 10 (as well as digitizing the signal), eliminating the risk of clipping. The USB adapter also eliminates the need to have a soundcard.
Add this USB Adapter to take advantage of HomeSeer Automation Software (sold separately): Plug it into your computer's USB port, then use voice commands to control your home automation system, whether you're there or not.
