Essential Info
You need a monitor and speakers in a room on the opposite side of the house, but signals won't travel that far over the normal cables. Now you can use inexpensive Cat5, Cat5e, or Cat6 cable to send these signals up to 500 feet. Plug any VGA source into the transmitter, run the Cat5 wire, and plug it into the receiver. Now you have high resolution video (up to 1280x1024) and audio. Now you can have a computer in one secure location and the display in another room, on another floor, or even in a different building. There's an equalization adjustment to fine-tune the video signal.
