If you have installed the 5.8GHz Wireless A/V Sender with I/R Extender (sold separately) to control your components remotely, you can expand this service with the 5.8GHz Extra Receiver. Attach this receiver to another television or monitor, and you'll be able to use your existing remote to manage a device connected to the transmitter in another room. And since it uses 5.8GHz-band signals, you'll avoid the interference associated with crowded lower-frequency band applications, such as 802.11b wireless LAN, cordless phones, and microwaves.

The 5.8GHz Wireless A/V Sender transmits vivid video and hi-fi stereo sound wirelessly from a VCR, TV set, DVD player, satellite receiver or cable set-top box to any TV or monitor attached to the 5.8GHz Receiver. It can also be used in conjunction with a camcorder or CCD camera to turn into a wireless security monitoring system. The signal can go up to 300 feet with clear line of sight, and since it uses radio waves, it will even penetrate walls.
All power supplies and connecting cords are included. Directional antennas minimize multi-path and interference.
