Velleman VM118R 8-Channel RF Remote Transmitter is a wireless 433 MHz RF (Radio Frequency) hand-held remote controller. Up to 8 different receiver modules can be used with one Velleman VM118R remote controller. Wirelessly communicating, this hand-held remote control transmitter will activate any of the 8 channels on the K8056 8-Channel Relay card receiver module. These 8 channels are activated with the push of a button on the VM118R's rubber keypad. Each of the 8 channels can be activated in one of two modes, "Toggle" (On / Off) and "Momentary" (Pulse Count). Visual indication of the operating mode is shown on the VM118R remote transmitter with flashes of its LED. One flash indicates a "Pulse Count" operation, two flashes of the LED indicates a "Momentary" operation. All relays can be turned off simultaneously by briefly touching the shift button.

Velleman's VM118R with the K8056 8 channel receiver module is a great way to control a variety of different home control systems triggered by low voltage contact closure. Examples of these systems would include security systems, home automation systems, sprinkler systems, automatic gates, swing door openers, door strikes, and magnetic locks. Each additional receiver is sold separately. The VM118R is powered by three "AAA" batteries sold separately.
