Unlike most motion sensors, the 50 x 50/80 x 6 Anti-Mask Commercial PIR can't be blocked by a potential intruder without triggering your alarm system. If an object is placed within 4 inches of the motion sensor for a period of more than 10 seconds, the detector's anti-masking circuit will activate, triggering the trouble output. If the object is removed, the circuit resets.
This anti-masking motion detector features alarm and initial alarm memory, which is used to indicate if the detector was activated while the panel was armed. When several motion detectors with the alarm memory function are on the same loop, the first detector to be activated flashes its LED after disarming; the red LED will stay lit on subsequent detectors that became activated.
Additional features include a patented double-conductive shield for extremely high light and RFI immunity.
