Essential Info
Having security cameras isn't enough; you also need to capture any transgressions in a recording. This network recorder is designed to store images on two hard disk drives (not included) of up to 4TB total. Since the video recordings are stored as digital files on hard drives, you avoid the image degradation common with tape recorders. Connect up to 4 cameras via an Ethernet network, install its management software on a PC, and you're ready to record any security breach. This network recorder can control your camera's pan, tilt, and zoom features, tell your cameras to go to predetermined points, and sequence through the four cameras in a preset sequence. There's also a motion detection mode to tell the recordings to begin only when a change in picture is detected. And you can monitor the video feed and change the settings over an Internet browser. This network recorder is also available in a 8-ch version.
