Essential Info
An easy-to-install system with everything you need to view up to 4 cameras on one screen (one camera included in kit). A 4-camera digital quad-screen processor built in to the monitor allows you to view up to 4 cameras simultaneously. Manual override buttons on the on the front of the monitor allow you to switch to a specific camera instantly. Choose between using proprietary system cameras that have motion sensors, IR illuminators and are powered by the monitor OR regular surveillance cameras. When system cameras are used, if the camera's motion sensor detects movement in it's field of view, the monitor will go to that camera and sound an alert signal (adjustable sound level). Each camera can have its name (Backdoor, Shipping, Lobby, etc.) superimposed on the screen with the time and date. Built-in IR illuminator for monitoring in near total darkness (short range).

Two sets of RCA audio and video jacks on the monitor allow you connect a VCR for recording, output the signal to a channel modulator for view on any TV in your home, or attach other monitors. If used with a time laps VCR, the monitor can trigger the VCR into real-time recording via its Alarm Out terminals. Video and audio input jacks allow monitoring of VCR playback.
The easiest installation will be using system cameras. You can connect up to four cameras to the system. Simply mount the cameras (a bracket is included with each system camera), run the supplied 65' cable from the camera to the monitor. Then plug the monitor into an 120V outlet. The cable between the cameras and the monitor carries the power and audio signals to the camera. A separate power supply for the system camera is not required. Additional cameras are available (sold separately).
If more cable is required, use the 100' and 250' extension kits to reach out up to 500 feet. The extension kits just add on to the existing cable, no striping wires, crimping or soldering required!
Each system camera includes a built-in microphone so you can be alerted to crying or other sounds. Additionally, a built-in microphone on the monitor and a small speaker on the cameras allow the operator to have a two-way conversation with the person in front of each camera. Push the "Talk" button on the monitor to speak and release to listen. IR illuminators in the camera allow short range monitoring in near total darkness.
Due to the heavy weight of this system, an extra $10 will be added to the shipping charge.
