I bought the securityman cucam1 for my parents who won't open their door at night unless they are expecting you because they can't see who it is. Set up was easy although you do need an outdoor outlet relatively close to the camera or an outdoor extention cord which I wasn't aware of from the description but they were able to plug it into one of those outdoor power stake outlets that you can buy at any home depot. The adaptor plugs right into the tv like a vcr/or dvd player would. The picture is very clear and vivid both day and night. The only time its not clear is when the sun hits the front door directly. You can still see, just not as vivid. The sound is very clear so you can hear what they are saying but please be aware they can't hear you. My parents thought it was an intercom but its not. My parents didn't want to mount it on the house where it could be seen so my dad mounted it on a wooden stake and it in the bushes. We have had some very heavy rain and there were no problems. This is a great product for the price they are very happy with it and so am I. Also be aware there is no customer service for this product you must contact the manufacturer.
