The 7603-C color security camera has a load of issues. Make sure if you are building a home that you get them mounted before the warranty runs out or you will get stuck. To begin with you are to drill according to the manual a 3/8" hole in your wall or house....don''t bother! a 1/2" hole is needed. Then when you mount it I hope you like looking at the ground because the 33 feet optimal is more like 10'' without putting in a big wedge on the mounting bracket. Then the seal for the wire falls apart in your fingers and leaves the camera board open to the elements. Finally, only expect a visaul of about 50 degrees, not 90 as advertised. lastly I have yet to see the PIR system work...always on! Good luck with this one...anybody have some good hole filler??

On site it states that it's a 1/3" CCD with 400 lines of resolution. It's actually a 1/4" CCD with 380 lines, so you can view a greater area with less detail. I needed to be able to recognize faces from 20 ft apart, and the camera just isn't built for that. Otherwise, for the price, a pretty good picture.
