Essential Info
You want to protect your home or office with video security. This kit includes everything necessary to set up 8 cameras and make permanent video recordings. The cameras are small (2" diameter x 3") and can be mounted indoors or in sheltered locations outdoors, and have infrared LEDs for night vision. The 6mm lens allows facial recognition up to 40' and the LEDs have a range of up to 30'. The cameras come with mounting brackets and hardware. The DVR is an advanced 16 channel unit, allowing you to expand your system at any time by adding up to 8 more cameras. The H.264 video compression allows you to store up to 2 years of video on the included hard drive, using the motion-activated recording mode. The DVR has controls for PTZ cameras, operable by front panel controls, the included remote control, or via the internet. View the video by connecting a monitor or by logging in over the internet or on your smartphone. Recording can be triggered by motion detection, alarm inputs, continuously, or per schedule.

H.264 Video Compression
H.264 technology delivers stunning video quality at remarkably low data rates. An upgrade to the MPEG4 standard, this ultra-efficient technology gives you excellent results across a broad range of bandwidths, from remote access via internet explorer to remote viewing on your smart phone. H.264 compression also allows you to store more video footage than traditional compression methods, thus giving you up to 50% more space.
Motion Activated Recording
Motion activation allows you to record only when necessary and makes it easy to find important footage during video playback. This will save you time and conserve hard drive space. Enhanced motion detection settings ensure that false alarms are not triggered. An easy motion detection mask allows you to block out areas with constant movement, such as roads or trees.
Icon Interface
The DVR comes equipped with a state of the art, easy to use icon based interface. All you need to do is point and click to access any of the features of the DVR. The interface is very user friendly and comes equipped with both a USB mouse and remote control.
Hard Drive
Utilizing H.264 compression, this system records up to 2 years of video with its pre-installed 1TB security-certified SATA hard drive. The hard drive was specifically designed for DVRs, provides faster read/write times, and more reliable recording of your video surveillance footage.
Day/Night Indoor/Outdoor Cameras
The indoor/outdoor color cameras provide you with a clear, crisp, and enhanced image at 400 TV lines of resolution. The cameras come equipped with 11 infrared LEDs that allow you to see in the darkness, up to 30 feet away!
Viewing
The DVR easily connects to your TV for instant viewing. This DVR comes equipped with 2 video outputs so you can connect multiple TVs. You may also connect using HDMI (cable included).
File Backup
The built-in USB port allows you to back up your important video footage directly to a USB flash drive, external USB hard drive, or an external DVD/CD writer (peripherals not included).
Triplex Technology
Utilizing triplex technology, the DVR allows you to record, play back, and view remotely, all at the same time. This ensures that you do not miss any important video footage, no matter what you're doing.
