Thinking about installing a security system in your home? You don't need to buy expensive cameras, motion detectors, and a time-lapse VCR in order to maintain peace of mind. The MemoCam M-C720 is a palm-sized unit containing an internal CMOS color camera, an active PIR motion sensor, and a digital video recorder, so this single device can be used in lieu of multiple confusing components. Using the included IR remote control, set the camera to record 1.2 megapixel resolution (1280 x 960) color video images when it senses motion, on a daily or weekly schedule, or upon internal or external dry contact activation. Recording is done onto a removable SD memory card of up to 1GB (sold separately).

Store up to 100,000 images at a time with the MemoCam M-C720, with all images dated and timed. The included software has PC- and pocket PC-based applications, enabling playback of recorded images at multiple speeds, fast search by time or alarm events, and search for images using a detailed list or thumbnails. The Windows export utility automatically exports the contents of the memory card onto a CD as backup, JPEG images, or AVI files for playing on any Windows media player. The device is also IP ready for remote management over Internet/LAN via the MemoCam GateWay (sold separately).

The reliable, easy-to-use and easy-to-install MemoCam M-C720 has full resolution quality of 1280x960 (SXGA), eight recording quality levels, recording at up to 10 frames per second, 1V/Lux-sec sensitivity, and an RS485 com port. Utterly flexible, you can easily define all of these parameters as well as recording time per event. The camera even has a TV output for an external monitor. Additional features include user-defined specific areas for movement detection within the picture frame.

The MemoCam is also available in black & white.
