Essential Info

This four wire, power supervision relay is used with home security systems with a fire alarm control unit and smoke detector. The supervision relay is installed at the end of the detector power circuit. A break in the detector power circuit or a loss of power de-energizes the power supervision relay, opening the contacts and causing a trouble annunciation at the fire alarm control unit. Includes seven-inch color-coded leads (red, black, yellow, green, white).

"Works great, but be careful when using w/HAI Omni products as the color code on the relay wires doesn't match the presumed color code in the HAI install manual; the HAI manual says use the green and yellow wires to connect the zone signal wires but the white (common) and green (NC while contact engaged) wires should be used instead; the yellow wire (NO while contact engaged) should remain unattached.
