With this GE Door / Window Sensor, alarm systems can be easily installed that provide the highest level of intruder protection available for a home or business. This sensor monitors doors, windows, cabinets, or anything that opens and closes. When used with a compatible alarm panel, the movements detected by the Door / Window Sensor result in an alarm.
Note: This receiver is compatible only with the 319.5MHz Crystal-based transmitters made by GE Security.

The GE Door / Window Sensor provides years of trouble-free operation. The advanced circuit technology makes this sensor extremely efficient and reliable. The low current draw, coupled with a high-capacity lithium battery, means an extrodinary 10 years between changes when sensors are used on windows and low traffic openings. High traffic areas typically result in a 5 to 8 year life expectancy.
Almost any building can be set up with a GE system because the Door / Window Sensor's small size, flexible mounting configurations, and choice of colors. The wire-free nature of the GE Door / Window Sensor means low installation costs, less installation damage from drilling holes and pulling wires, and less time spent on premises for the installer.
Easy System ProgrammingAdding this sensor to a GE alarm panel is as easy as placing the panel in program mode and removing the cover of the sensor. Removing the sensor cover of the GE Door / Window Sensor activates the tamper switch. Activating the tamper switch while the panel is in program mode adds the sensor ID code into the system.
