Essential Info

Why waste time and energy running back and forth to the mail box to see if your mail has arrived, let the Mail Chime do it for you! This wireless solution couldn't be any easier to install or use, and makes life more convenient. Simply mount the battery powered sensor on your mailbox door using double sided tape (included), and then plug the receiver into an electrical outlet anywhere in your home. When your mail is delivered, you'll receive and audible and visual notification; the sensor transmits a wireless signal to the receiver, which will beep four times and a bright red LED will illuminate. This solution has a 450 foot wireless communication range and an adjustable volume control. The sensor works on curbside, wall mounted, and slot type mailboxes, making it ideal for almost any application. Just press the reset button after retrieving your mail to set the Mail Chime up for the next day's delivery. Additionally, the Mail Chime can be used as a security device to notify you if someone is tampering with your mailbox. Includes a long lasting 12 volt battery.

Important Note: The Mail Chime is not for use on mailboxes with "vertical hinges". These are often called "cluster type" mailboxes which have vertical doors that open like doors on a house.

Received product in a timely manner. Was a no-brainer to install, took less than 5 minutes, and it worked the first time without adjustment. Has continuously worked without a problem for over three weeks. The price was reasonable. Love the fact I no longer have to go out in bad weather to see if I received any mail. My mailbox is a good distance from my house and the Mail Chime works fine. My only problem with it is it keeps falling off the mailbox door. I can't get it to stay stuck on the mailbox door. Everytime I open the door to the mailbox I have to re-adjust the Chime to make sure it stays in place. Any solution to this problem would be helpful?

thiswas shipped in timely manner,it was very simple to install and very simple to set up.Now I don`t have to run check for the mail ,just look for the red light.Would tell everyone that this is a great product and they should get one.Just have to remember to turn off the light for the next day.

Far corner of garage is nearest the mailbox, which is 200 feet or more away. The alarm worked there, but would not respond when placed anywhere else inside the house. Nevertheless, it does work very reliably in its garage location. Instructions were thorough, and installation was a breeze.

Works fine in my application - no problems at all. I do wish it had provisions for wall mounting (had to modify it to provide this ability). Also would have liked to have a right angle connector for power cord plug.

Amazing! Volume control is perfect depending on placement. Loud setting lets you keep the chime by the front door and it can be heard like a doorbell through out the house. Kept in the bedroom or by the desk, the quiet setting won't startle you. The sound can even be turned off and the red light will still light up indicating mail has arrived. The motion sensor part attaches without tools by a self stick adhesive tape. It's been in use for weeks now and it's a VERY secure bond. One of those products that you'll never regret having.
