Essential Info

Why waste time and energy running back and forth to the mail box to see if your mail has arrived, let the Mail Chime do it for you! This wireless solution couldn't be any easier to install or use, and makes life more convenient. Simply mount the battery powered sensor on your mailbox door using double sided tape (included), and then plug the receiver into an electrical outlet anywhere in your home. When your mail is delivered, you'll receive and audible and visual notification; the sensor transmits a wireless signal to the receiver, which will beep four times and a bright red LED will illuminate. The Mail Chime has a 450 foot wireless communication range and an adjustable volume control. The sensor works on curbside, wall mounted, and slot type mailboxes, making it ideal for almost any application. Just press the reset button after retrieving your mail to set the Mail Chime up for the next day's delivery. Additionally, the Mail Chime can be used as a security device to notify you if someone is tampering with your mailbox. Includes a long lasting 12 volt battery.

Installation Note: The Mail Chime is not for use on mailboxes with "vertical hinges". These are often called "cluster type" mailboxes which have vertical doors that open like doors on a house.

    Overall, I think this is a fantastic product. I have recommended it to my neighbors. The only proble that I have had with it was not getting a signal during a rain shower. In Washington, that is a problem. I was able to remmedy that problem by moving the unit closer to my mail box.

    Easy installation. Works as advertised. Station installed on counter-top in utility room of home, about 200 feet from mail box. I don't watch for the postman anymore, and don't have any more useless trips to the mailbox.

    The reviews stated that other people could not get the chime to work. But mine was the same as theres not working at al;l so I called th Hanna phone 309-788-1982. I told thim that mine did not work and I wante them to ship me one that did. The person asked me to plug it back in and to put battery in transmitter I did then He stated to hold the reset button in the light would come on and then let go when light blinked I did. And it has worked right for a month now 350 ft from house no missed mail or buzz that is not the mail person outstanding mail chime

    Now I hear the beeps and know when the mailman goes. Do not have to risk going out in the snow until mailman goes. Don't need to risk slipping on ice.

    Awesome! I work from home and our mail NEVER comes at a consistent time. My apartment is on the second floor about 275 feet from the mailbox station. My individual mailbox has a vertical hinge, but the panel of mailboxes tilts open so the mailman can drop mail in from the top. The mail chime works like a charm! No more wasted trips to the mailbox. The Mail Chime will pay for itself in no time.

    Transmitter installation is trivial using 2-sided tape. Much better than the previous model actually, since the battery can be replaced without dismounting the transmitter. Receiver can go just about anywhere in the house (unless your mailbox is unusually far from your house). I recommend placing a strip of tape around the transmitter battery to prevent it from popping out of the holder if your mail carrier tends to slam the door.
