Works very well. Solved my problem of multiple wireless units that just couldn't consistently transmit through the wall. Makes me much more confident that it can be relyed upon by someone with no keys. An added plus not in the description is that the unit that sits inside the garage wall also contains a push button to work the door. I was going to add one anyway. Installation is straightforward, but you do need to pick the spot carefully. The hard line (a phone line) that runs between the keypad and the inside unit is only about 12" long. The two pieces will have to be very close together. Not a huge deal as long as you plan for it. Overall, very satisfied, especially after multiple failures with wireless units.

Does just what I wanted. Works with opener that uses a simple contact switch to activate door; doesn't need to be newer coded units and doesn't use radio. Pushbutton unit mounts outside, connects to electronics and battery inside via short cable. The door opening is controlled by unit inside so no outside tampering can get the door to open. Good price. Had for a month and it has been fine.

We are very pleased with our garage door keypad. It was easy to install and is easy to use. We especially liked that we did not have to buy a new garage door opener. Thank you.

This system was a snap to install. Directions were easy to follow. From start to finish it took about 10 minutes. We use this keypad on a volunteer firehouse door so we don't have to fumble with keys when we get a call. The keypad is smaller than it appears in the ads; it's quite smaller than an iPhone and the keys are small too, which we have found causes some of our fat-fingered members to hit two keys at the same time. The unit has worked flawless though and other than making the keys larger, I wouldn't have any other suggestions. There is a door that covers the keys and it's done a pretty good job of keeping the rain out. I'd buy this item again.

I have a similar unit on our second home. This present unit has yet to be installed, but I had to alter the first unit due to faulty construction in the manufacturing process. Otherwise, the unit works fine. JPB

Works great. Easy to install. I've had wireless ones before and they were unreliable. Would be nice if they made the cable from the exterior unit to the interior a bit longer.

Easy to install and use. After ca. 5 years, the contacts for the buttons of the keypad wear out, and the unit needs to be replaced. This is my third one.
