The High Security or Exterior Easy Read-Prox® Slimline version controls access of up to 10,000 users, making it a great single stand-alone, low-cost solution for high traffic access control applications. All users can be individually voided without the user's token. No separate programmer required. The system is compatible with both Keyfobs and Proximity cards. Keyfobs are small, readily accessible, and can be attached to a key ring to prevent lose. Proximity cards are durable plastic cards with vertical slots for hanging badges or for conveniently fitting in your wallet. The Range for each keyfob is 1" to 9/16" (40mm), while the range for each Proximity card is 2" to 3/8" (80mm). The superb aesthetics of this reader make it popular with architects and other building experts. If used with an electromagnetic lock, RCI recommends the 10 Series filtered and regulated 12VDC power supplies. All installations must conform to local fire codes, national building codes and life safety codes. Power source is not included.

Do not install proximity readers behind metal doors which RF can not penetrate, on ferrous metal surfaces which will diminish the read range, or near TV's and monitors who's own RF will interfere with the proximity reader.
