Keyless entry is just a short installation away with the easy-to-use Visonic CL-8A Programmable Keypad. This self contained digital keypad is for indoor use and is designed to limit access to restricted areas, while at the same time provide keyless access to authorized personnel. It is suitable for flush and surface mounting in a standard single-gang switchbox, and can function with virtually every security control panel available on the market. Its internal EEPROM can be programmed with 56 individual access codes (1-8 digits in length) to be assigned to groups of users or individuals and can be changed or deleted as needed. The EEPROM memory stores all the programmed data and will be unaffected in the event of a power failure. Contacts can be set to close for up to 98 seconds or to latch (enter one code to close, another to open). A panic output can be triggered by pressing * and # or by entering a panic code. The Programmable Keypad requires 9-16 or 22-26 volts AC or DC and it is not weatherproof.
