If you or a loved one is elderly or disabled, you can easily install this automatic dialer that contacts emergency personnel, central station operators, or a relative or friend in the event of an emergency when triggered by a wireless remote control. The Linear Personal Emergency Reporting System uses your existing phone line to call for help when its "help" button is pressed or when activated by a handheld, wristband-mounted, or pendant-style remote (all sold separately). This console can also connect to your Linear Wireless Security Panel.

How it WorksCommunications with central station monitoring personnel starts after an alarm or activation from a remote transmitter. Two-way communications can also be started without any subscriber action: An authorized individual may call the console twice from any touchtone telephone to activate two-way voice communications by keying in a four-digit password after placing the second call. In an emergency situation, the user can answer an incoming call by pressing the transmitter button, which will activate the console's speakerphone function. The console has a high-sensitivity microphone and speaker built in for two-way or one-way communications. Add a remote speaker and microphone (sold separately) to communicate in a room up to 150 feet from your main console.
Console Transmitter OptionsUp to 16 different transmitters can activate your Linear Personal Emergency Reporting System. A variety of styles is available; choose the device or devices that will be most comfortable for your lifestyle.
Linear 2-Button, 1-Channel Handheld Transmitter: Pressing either the front button or the small button on top of this handheld transmitter sends a digitally coded wireless signal up to 1500 feet to your console to trigger the event you program.
Linear 3-Button, 4-Channel Handheld Transmitter: Pressing the three buttons on this handheld transmitter alone or in combination sends up to four digitally coded wireless signals up to 1500 feet to your console to trigger the events you program.
Linear 1-Button, 1-Channel Wristband Transmitter: Pressing the button on this water-resistant wristband-mounted transmitter sends a digitally coded wireless signal to your console to trigger an event or to call for help.
Linear 2-Button, 1-Channel Wristband Transmitter: Pressing both buttons on this water-resistant wristband-mounted transmitter simultaneously sends a digitally coded wireless signal to your console to trigger an event or to call for help.
Activity Timer MonitoringThe Linear Personal Emergency Reporting System has an optional activity timer that can be set for 8-, 12-, or 24-hour operation to call for help in the event that time elapses before a transmitter is triggered or the console's Home button is pressed.
Audio Reminder MessagesAs a special feature, the Linear Personal Emergency Reporting System can record and play up to approximately eight 15-second audio reminder messages, which can be used to help the occupant remember to take medications, call someone, or get ready for an appointment. Each message is controlled by a real-time clock and can be programmed to play daily, every other day, weekly, or monthly. Reminder messages are played and repeated in three-minute intervals for either 15 or 30 minutes (programmable) until canceled. Messages can also be programmed for single-play.
Additional FeaturesInstallation and programming are made easy by Linear's RA-2400 remote access software. To simplify operation, the console can "speak" with its built-in digitally synthesized voice. The Console will say "emergency," "fire," "timer done soon," and other system operation, setup, and supervisory prompts from a 49-word vocabulary. For the visually impaired, each button on the console is molded with Braille characters to identify the button's function. Additional features include phone line seizure capability and distinct alarm tones for emergency and fire alarm conditions.
