    Don't worry about cloudy skies, because the Solar Floodlight works for approximately 2 weeks without ANY sunlight (at an average of eight 30-second light intervals each night)! A built-in motion and heat sensor turns the light on for people, but not for swaying tree branches. You can adjust the sensitivity of the sensor to pick up a full 90° horizontally, at a distance of up to 30 feet. Set the darkness level to keep the light from coming on too early in the evening or too late at night. Choose either a 30- or 60-second duration for the light to remain on after the last motion detected. A 14-foot cable between the solar panel and the light lets you place the security light where you need it, while allowing the solar panel to be installed facing the sun (south for homes in the Northern Hemisphere).

    A solar-powered motion-sensing floodlight is also available in white.

    The 600 lumens are barely adequate to light up a walkway 50 feet away. It's okay for 30 feet on in. Solar panels need a lot od direct sunlight to keep the battery charged.

    Regret to say the solar light quit after one month. It may be the battery which is not receiving a charge from the solar panel so will be connecting it up to a main supply to see if it will recharge.

    One of the lights didn't work. Apparently no Quality Control. Found cold solder joints that kept the light from working. Company was willing to replace bad item w/o cost. Repaired light myself. Hoping to have no further trouble from any of the solar lights.

    The design idea is good however the power of the light is much like a flash light on AA battery than a flood light. I would have appreciated a better description since I would not have purchased it. Also on the previous Security camera that I purchased, the frequency is interfering with my entire home wireless devices.. Internet wireless router, home cordless phone and knoked off my internet settings from the modem... also it did not come with a memory recording system, and not so easy to use. I was pretty disappointed with both these purchases and definately would like to return the Security camera since it has no use to me with the interference issue... I tried to switch channels and move to different locations, but after two hours I gave up. Best regards, Andrew

    The test option did not work, so I set up the light based on what area looked like might be covered and at night the light worked. I was disappointed with the quality of the light, very cheap materials. The brightness of the light was better than expected. The adjustment knobs for the sensor and light were ridiculous. The knobs never held the light or sensor in place. I had to crazy glue them in place.
