Installs in MinutesThere's no electricity needed to power the Solar-Powered Motion Sensor Outdoor Light. With no wires to run, you can install this solar light in minutes. A 14-foot cable between the solar panel and the light lets you place the security light where you need it while allowing the solar panel to be installed facing the sun. This solar light will even work in cloudy weather, up to two weeks without any sunlight!
Light Turns on at Dusk AutomaticallyA built-in photocell lets the Solar-Powered Motion Sensor Outdoor Light know when it's dark, so it won't waste battery and bulb life by burning during daylight hours. You can adjust the light sensitivity if you desire. Additional features include adjustable motion sensitivity and adjustable length of light time.
A solar-powered motion-sensing outdoor light is also available in grey. Extra batteries are sold separately.
Hands on ResearchInstalled in Southern California…I originally tested this light to replace a floodlight on the outside of a garage facing a dark alleyway, and soon learned that the light was not as intense as a true floodlight. The light’s intensity would compare to that of a large flashlight. After realizing the light would not work for my intended purposes, I installed the light just above a gate to my yard which adds a touch of security with the motion sensor feature. Installation was very simple (less than 10 minutes) and the 14-foot cable between the light and the solar panel gave me a lot of flexibility. It took only a few hours to charge, and the light worked the next night after a gray, overcast day. This light is ideal for sheds, barns or any outdoor structure that does not have access to electricity. Alternatively, if you would like to add a secondary light to your outdoor security lighting system, I would have no problem recommending this light.
