MARK -- pineville, NC   4/29/2011
Just needed an extra. It works like the others.
RAY -- brodheadsville, PA   2/20/2011
I have several and they all work as advertised.
RAYMOND -- maplewood, NJ   1/20/2011
I have successfully and happily installed two of these elsewhere in my home, both relatively close to the central station. The 3rd one has been nothing but problems. Its location is the furthest wireless device from the central unit, but still only about 30 paces from the unit, but through a bunch of twist and turns through hallways. Originally I thought I had a defective unit, but after receiving two replacement units from Smarthome I've concluded that the device just doesn't work too well when it doesn't have a clear path to send its signal. What makes the process more frustrating is the misleading error messages and symptoms you get. In conclusion, when close and clear lines, read less than 20 feet, it works very well. Beyond that and it is very unreliable. After 3 different units I think it is safe to say it is not an anomaly.
CLIFF -- mansfield, OH   10/15/2010
You can't mount the unit in the top corner of a wall because to change the battery you have to remove the screw at the top of the unit. Engineering issue. But it works fine and the pet-immune filter works perfectly!
EDWARD -- sicamous, BC   9/19/2010
They work as avertised.
SUSAN -- harrison, OH   7/6/2010
Replacement was handled efficiently by customer service.
BONNIE -- pittsburgh, PA   2/1/2010
Seems to work as described. No issues so far.
JULIE -- honolulu, HI   1/11/2010
Seems to work well. We noted that its a little less sensitive in bright areas, like my living room where there are lots of windows.
ERWIN -- doral, FL   1/5/2010
good time delivery
PAUL -- anderson, IN   1/5/2010
I have 4 of these installed. I have no pets to test out the pet immunity, but they have been reliable. I have noticed that the detection area does extend at least a little above the area shown in the manual (I set off the 1st floor detector while going by the 2nd floor balcony). I just wish they make a simple and small wireless motion detector for small rooms.
Cliff -- mansfield, OH   8/24/2011
I've had three in use for nearly a year. I have yet to get a false alarm and we have pets. One is out in the yard at a storage shed and appx. 50 feet from the control panel through 3 inside walls and one external brick wall. And here in Ohio we have wide extremes in temperature 0 F to 95 F. All sensors have worked flawlessly. I can't imagine a simpler or easier to install motion detector. However, as I said in an earlier review, you can't mount it high in a corner of a room because the screw to open up the unit and change the battery is on top, so you need room to get a screwdriver in there above it. I suppose you could install it upside down but that may affect its function.
Ray -- Sun Valley Nv near Reno Nv   4/20/2011
I have three of these in my system, the one that I am writing about is in my garage, its furthest one from the panel and the signal has to go through two walls in my home, and if I don't disarm the alarm before I go into the gurage it will set it into alarm, so I know they work very well, and easy to enroll into the systm.
