Visonic's GSM-350 is designed to provide cellular communication to some of the PowerMax systems, and Smarthome SecureLinc 2. This offers an incredibly reliable and high-speed channel for communication to the central monitoring stations. This feature is especially important in the event that standard land-based telephone lines have failed or been tampered with. GPRS as well as GSM can both be used as data channels for reporting events from the PowerMax systems.

Remote programming is an additional feature provided by the GSM-350. Form any where in the world, as long as there is an internet connection, you will be able to access the system for remote operation and the reporting of logged events. This cellular communicator is a must have for homes using the PowerMax systems without a land-based telephone line. Secluded or isolated vacation homes, boats, and homes with VoIP telephone systems are all great examples of locations where a GSM-350 is needed. This cellular communication module fits with in the PowerMax, no external pieces will need to be added to the PowerMax panels. Constant connectivity with the central monitoring station ensures reliability through continuous monitoring.
