    You can you any telephone line with the RJ11 plug like the plug that you use to plug your phone into on it. You do not need to call Smarthome and order it seperatley. Again, just a regular telephone RJ11 plug that you can aquire at any hardware store; homedepot, Ace Hardware, Lowe's...

    This made linking the X10/B&D modules as easy as 1-2-3. Lights flash and the X10 horn is just as piercing/deafening as the horn built into the main panel. Silence the main panel to avoid it being located and use these instead by placing them up high with a hidden extension cord. Five Stars.
