- Pan and tilt control expands its field of view
- 10x digital zoom
- Connects to your WiFi network
- CMOS image sensor gives good low-light performance
- IR LEDs allow clear images even in total darkness
Essential Info
Place this indoor Pan/Tilt Surveillance Wireless IP Network Camera anywhere indoors where a fixed camera just won't do. Use the remote control to pan, tilt, and zoom the image so you can scan an entire room. Preset "patrol tours" can automatically keep the camera moving so you will see all activity in its field of view. Since it is an IP network camera, connection is simple: mount it, plug in the power, and it connects wirelessly to your network. Twelve IR LEDs will add illumination at night to give clear views even in total darkness. Its mechanical IR cut filter allows more light to reach the image sensor during the daytime, and moves into place in low-light conditions to block the IR light from the LEDs. You can view the video from any browser or on your smart phone. The two-way audio is handy if you want to use the camera to talk to people who are in the field of view or to listen in on activity. Comes with bundled software to control this camera and allow simultaneous monitoring of up to 16 cameras. Learn more about IP Cameras.

Connect to a Digital Video Recorder Old video surveillance systems used to require a remote access system, a camera multiplexer; a time-lapse VCR, and an unlimited supply of videotapes for remote viewing and storing video from a multi-camera system. Now you can get the capabilities of all those products in one with a Digital Video Recorder (DVR). By connecting up to four cameras to a DVR, you will be able to record and review video footage of activity around your property. You can even remotely access your video footage using a Network Digital Video Recorder (NDVR).
IR LEDs Infrared (IR) cameras can pick up images in total darkness. Most IR cameras send out a reflective IR light emitting diode (LED) illuminator which can not be seen by the human eye. This light reacts with an object which in turn puts out a low frequency image. That image can then be picked up by the camera in low-light and no light areas. The greater the number of IR LED illuminators, the greater the power of the camera. The Pan/Tilt Surveillance Wireless IP Network Camera has 12 IR LEDs, giving a range of up to 33 feet.
Lux Lux rating is the amount of minimum illumination that a camera can have and still pick up an image, 0 being the lowest, or no light. So the closer the lux rating is to 0, the better the camera will operate in no light or low light situations. The Pan/Tilt Surveillance Wireless IP Network Camera can pick up images down to 0.5 lux, or in 0 lux conditions with the LEDs on.
Pan and Tilt Most cameras are fixed in one position after installation and adjusting the mounting bracket. However, a pan/tilt camera has motors that move the "guts" of the camera inside its housing, allowing the user to select what is seen by the camera at any given time. This allows you to rotate the camera and pivot it up and down until you see exactly the scene you require.
