Product is exactly what I wanted and as advertised. I am happy with the price and rapid shipment. Works as advertised.

I bought two extra sensors because I have three garage doors I wanted to monitor. These did come with batteries and ready to go. They were easy to install but are very flaky.

Does not work.

Product Was Poor. Smarthome customer service was excellent. Will purchase from Smarthome again.

Not enough range Need to increase transmitting power

the system is very range sensitive. The manufacturer claims 'up to 300ft' but I had trouble at less than 75' from the garage door to the kitchen. I had to move the receiver to within 30' to get a reliable reading. Issues I got were false 'door open' signals and 'out of range' signals. The only reason I didn't rate the system a 1 is that it did work once I located the unit in a room next to the garage where it was still observable from the kitchen.

Tape mount not very secure, had to drill holes for screws.

I think it is a good product for the price. Keep in mind the range is limited 30 feet. I had to move the base unit closer, my garage is 20 x 20 so it had to be close. Also note the adheasive tape doesn't work in Florida, with the heat here the sensor just falls off.
