The jury is still out with this one. My expectations were that the alarm would be synchronized to the main console to extend the alarm range outside the home. The audio alarm is armed separate from the main console and you synchronize the sensors individually with the Audio Alarm (even though the manuals say the audio alarm and console are compatible). Initially can not get the alarm to sound when a sensor is triggered. So need to experiment more to see if the settings are correct or if the location of the alarm needs to be moved closer to the repeater to communicate with the sensors. The audio alarm is louder than the console alarm.
