The Magnetic Switch works in conjunction with a WT-433E (sold separately) Door/Window sensor. It can be used as a replacement part for your current Door/Window Sensor, or you can use it as an additional item to add on to your existing Door/Window Sensors. When used in conjunction with a WT-433E, you can set up the sensors to monitor two different places using only one transmitter. When the door/window is opened, contact is broken and the sensor sends a signal to the Control Panel to activate a chime or alarm. The magnetic contact switch is a sensor intended to safeguard your home's doors and windows and can be installed discretely behind window and door frames. In addition to windows and doors, these contacts are ideal for alarming safes, gun cabinets, jewelry boxes, china cabinets, or just about anything that opens and closes.
