The Skylink SG-18R Light Switch and Garage Door Receiver can be used as a lighting control receiver and a garage door receiver. When the SG-18R is used as a garage door receiver, simply plug it into the AC outlet inside the garage and control the garage door opener with a simple push on a remote button. It works with most brands of garage door opener, and connects 2 wires to the terminals of your existing wall button. When SG-18R is used as a lighting control receiver, plug it in the light fixture or small appliances and plug the receiver into the AC outlet inside your house. Control the plug-in devices on and off with a simple push on a remote button.
