Essential Info
The MD-318 Remote Controllable Wire-In On/Off/Dimming Control Module was designed to operate a 300 watt load at 120 volts of alternating current (120VAC) for either incandescent or CFL bulbs. This receiver module features an On/Off or relay function as well as a dimming function which will only work with dimmable bulbs. To use the MD-318 simply wire the device in-line with the lighting fixture you wish to control. Once properly installed you will be able to wirelessly turn on and off, or dim and brighten lights powered by the switch from a variety of SkylinkHome transmitters. To achieve remote control over the MD-318 from a wireless transmitter, you must first program the switch to be a responder of that transmitter. The programming is a very simple process done with the set buttons located on the switch and on the transmitter. A maximum of 8 transmitters can be paired to one MD-318 remote controllable wire-in module. This allows you to add more wireless hand-held remote controllers, or motion sensors to your system for flexibility, security, and comfort.

The SkylinkHome System comprises a variety of wireless sensors, wireless remotes, wire-in and plug-in lighting or appliance controls. All wireless communication between SkylinkHome devices is based on rolling code technology. This ensures the highest security for your wireless signals being transmitted. For zone programming of these devices or to make this switch a member of a "Zone" (a group of lights controlled at the same time), you will need to purchase the 10 Button Deluxe Remote separately.
