The MR-318 Remote Controllable Wire-In On/Off Control Module was designed to operate a 600 watt load at 120 volts of alternating current (120VAC) for either incandescent, CFL, florescent tubes, or small appliances. To use the MR-318 simply wire the device in-line with the lighting fixture you wish to control. Once properly installed you will be able to wirelessly turn on and off, lights or appliances powered by the receiver module from a variety of SkylinkHome transmitters. To achieve remote control over the MR-318 from a wireless transmitter, you must first program the wire-in module to be a responder of that transmitter. The programming is a very simple process done with the set buttons located on the switch and on the transmitter. A maximum of 8 transmitters can be paired to one MR-318 dimmer. This allows you to add more wireless hand-held remote controllers, or motion sensors to your system for flexibility, security, and comfort.
