Your M1 system has not been able to communicate with Z-Wave devices - until now. Use this module in combination with Leviton Plug-In Serial Module to enable the M1 to control locks, lights, thermostats and more. Elk's Serial Interface gives you the full functionality of the newest Z-Wave devices, such as electronic locks from Kwikset, Baldwin, Yale and Schlage. This module is a type 5 serial expander; the M1 architecture is limited to a total of seven of this type of device.

Note: The Leviton VRC0P must be the "+3" version, and must have firmware version V2.33S / Z-Wave 3.11 or higher. Older units are not compatible and cannot be upgraded to work.
