Essential Info
This Elk module is a voice and alarm driver that includes a Temporal Coded Bell Sound. It is the first module of this type that meets ANSI standards for an emergency evacuation signal, making it ideal for both residential and commercial applications. It can be connected to your Elk security system and to a fire alarm simultaneously. A speaker is required, sold separately, and must be connected to hear the 122db high quality pre-recorded voice messages and alarm sounds. The pre-recorded messages are in English, Spanish or both and there are three alarm sounds: siren, pulsing buzzer and temporal coded bell. Depending upon the switch and jumper settings, you can make it possible to select voice only, siren only, or combined alternating playback

Additional on-board jumper settings
MilliMiser™ option allows the already low current draw of the ELK-110 to be reduced even lower. This is ideal for controls with limited alarm output power.
The ComboTrigger™ option allows controls which have a single alarm output and pulsing option to activate both the burglar and fire alarm sounds.
The VolumeStep™ option is best described as the "peacekeeper", since it causes the siren sound to start at low volume, gradually increasing over 90 seconds to maximum volume.
