Essential Info
The Dual Car Camera with GPS Logger from KJB Security can take hands-free audio/video of the interior and exterior of the car in the daytime as well as night. The Interior camera features 4 IR LEDs allowing it to record in low-light settings and each camera has a resolution of 640x480 pixels. There are 2 recording settings available, continuous or emergency. When the emergency setting is used the camera will sync with the devices G-Shock sensor to automatically record the previous 30 seconds if an impact is detected. This feature can be extremely beneficial for any driver to potentially provide video documentation to prove their innocence in an accident that isn't their fault. The camera also acts as a safety device for parents to install in their kids cars to ensure they are driving safely and not allowing themselves to be distracted by devices such as their phones. Another great feature with this product is the built-in GPS logger. The GPS logger will keep record of locations traveled, speeds and direction of travel, all on a micro SD card (included) which can be removed and analyzed on a PC. An SD card reader is also included that will connect the memory card to a USB port and comes with pre-loaded viewing software for plug and view use. The software interfaces with Google maps when connected to easily view routes traveled. The Dual Car Camera with GPS Logger includes a 2GB micro SD memory card but can support up to a 32GB micro SD memory card , sold separately. This product is powered by a 12V DC charger which plugs into the DC power port of a car.
