Essential Info

The Wireless Motion Alert uses a passive Infra-Red (PIR) sensor to detect movement of people and vehicles, while allowing small animals to pass through undetected. Once motion has been detected, the sensor can transmit a signal to the base up to 1/2 mile away. Expandable up to 8 sensors for total perimeter coverage. Many uses such as: driveway, patio, deck, storage shed, farm, office/worksite, and more. The base station is powered by the AC adapter and four AA batteries supply power in case of a power outage.

    The tone is not loud enough, its sounds like a microwave going off. We have had several false beeps going off when their is no wind or any visiable objects to trigger it. Its not as good as my old one. Thanks Tom and Joy Eldridge

    Works good! Great little device. we had to put it on a tree pointing to the door we want to protect, because when it was beside the door, it was sensitive enough to pick up cars driving by 1/2 a block away! now it only picks up action at the doors.

    I have used the "Reporter" system for about 8 years now. I needed a replacement for one of my 4 units I use on my residnetial property. I find them to be accurate most of the time, the odd time there is a false report from a Racoon, but in general I recommend them highly as an inexpensive security device!

    We can not make it work. The green light is on the transmitter in the home and there is fresh (tested) batteries in the motion detector, and we did as instructions noted in set up .
