Unfortunately, people rarely notice a dangerous rise in temperature in the refrigerator until it's too late, letting all of your food go to waste! The X10 Refrigerator Failure Sensor Watchdog provides a way to sense inordinately high temperatures or the early failure of a residential refrigerator. Simply place the sensor in your refrigerator and carefully extend the wire leads out the refrigerator door through the weather stripping and attach the wire leads to an X10 Powerflash module. From there, you can have the Powerflash module send out X10 commands to other X10 controlled devices such as an X10 Lamp Module or an X10 Appliance Module to turn lights on in the event that the refrigerator's temperature rises to an unacceptable level.
