Running your sprinklers on a rainy day is not only wasteful of water, it's also wasteful of your hard-earned money. But now you can correct both of those problems with the Rain-Click, the simplest, most effective way to prevent sprinklers from coming on during or after a rain. Designed to work with any 24V automatic sprinkler control system with normally-closed contacts, the Rain-Click shuts sprinklers off the moment it detects rain, and keeps them off for the amount of time needed to compensate for the amount of rainfall that occurred. And thanks to its unique Quick Response™ feature, the Rain-Click is the only rain sensor out there that can command controllers to shut off the moment it starts to rain, not after it accumulates 1/4" or 1/2" of rain.

How does it work? Disks absorb water and then expand proportionally to the amount of rain that fell (e.g., a small cloudburst would result in little absorption, a thunderstorm with 6" of rain would lead to more absorption and thus more expansion). As the moisture-laden disks expand, they activate a switch that signals the controller. Once dry, the disks contract and release the switch, automatically resetting your system back to its normal status until the next rain. No other rain sensor correlates rainfall more effectively!
Because every property is different, the Rain-Click comes with 25 feet of 20-gauge, two-conductor wire and every conceivable piece of mounting hardware for optimum installation ease. Choose between a conduit mount, gutter mount or standard wall mount and use the included telescoping extension arm if needed to clear obstructions. An adjustable dryout-time sensor is also provided to optimize the system for the climate in your region.
