The Smarthome Laser Garage Parking System is an inexpensive and easy solution to this common problem. Available in a single laser (for one car garages) or dual laser (for two car garages) models, the Laser Garage Parking System helps you identify the perfect parking spot in your garage each and every time you pull in by simply tracking the laser beam until it hits a pre-selected spot on your dash or hood. The easy-to-install Laser Garage Parking System mounts on your garage ceiling and projects a bright red laser beam toward the garage floor. As your car enters the garage, a motion detector triggers the laser beam to project onto your car's hood and continues toward the dashboard. You determine the ideal parking spot and match that with where the laser beam projects onto your car.

The Smarthome Laser Parking System's motion sensor detects when your car enters the garage. It triggers the laser to shine from the ceiling mounted unit to a predetermined spot. Once you pull your car to that spot, you know you've safely parked in the correct location of your garage. Easy installation with all mounting hardware included. Can be power by either the included AC adapter or a 9V battery, sold separately.

Please use caution when installing. The housing is made from plastic which can be cracked when accessing the battery box (open carefully). Product usage is dependent on motion; therefore it is not recommended to power the item via battery if your garage is a high traffic area. Frequent motion detection will cause the battery to lose power quickly.

Great product! The only thing I can suggest is to offer the product with a longer lead wire to plug into the unit. The one that now comes with the package is ok for most garages but if your garage is larger then the wire is not long enough to go from the electric plug to the position needed for the unit to operate efficently. I had to add extra lead wire to get it to work.

I am very satisfied with this product. Installation was easy but as it does need to be plugged in, you need an accessible electric outlet. A good overall value and sure makes parking easier!

works as described. well worth the money not to have a tennis ball hanging from the ceiling that i will bump into. I purchased the 2 car garage model for my one car as it was very adjustable. I made one beam land 1 foot in front of the other for a indication you are getting close. As other reviewers have stated the beam could stay on a bit longer before timing out. In the beginning you are cautious and once you get used to driving in there is just enough time. I installed mine using the 120 plug. I guess the 20-30sec. time out is good if you use the battery only. I would buy again.

It works, but one of the lasers is half the brightness of the other. Also, the power cable is pretty short so i cant get the unit far enough away from the outlet. The lasers are pretty limited in terms of how far apart the beams can be spread. since the power cord is short, the unit is mounted right above the cars and i have to have it shoot the edge of the mirror of one car. This is my second unit. the first one i got several years ago. one of the lasers burned out within a year. overall a poor product. i would buy again for the convenience, knowing it wont last long. I may replace the lasers myself as they burn out rather than buy another.

One of the Laser beams on the unit was out of focus and would not emit a pencil like beam. The rotation field of adjustment does not allow a 360 swivel to locate beam positioning on vehicle, very difficult to attach unit to it's base once base is mounted to ceiling. Does work well once problems sorted out! Smarthome customer service OUTSTANDING First class help and prompt! Thank You!

My experience was the same as many other reviewers. Two lasers could not be pointed far enough apart to be used with two cars in the garage. I ended up focusing both on one car. Otherwise, it works just fine.

Works awesomely....now I can trust my wife to park my truck in the garage with very tight clearance. I actually use both lights on one vehicle--one is aimed at a location that intercepts a point on the dash as the truck is moving into position to give a relative idea of alignment and the other appears onto the dash closer to the time when the truck is in final position.

This product is advertised as battery-powered. So far, I have put 2 new batteries into this system And each has lasted on average approximately 7 days. I'm trying it one more time with the new battery. If I do not see a significant improvement in the life of the battery, I will be sending it back to you.

Sorry to say that the plastic housing is very brittle and easy to crack, my unit cracked when assessing the battery box, this coupled with the fact that and a new 9 volt battery will only last four days in a standard two vehicle garage.

Poor design. I had expected to be able to shine the laser light onto the middle of the car. Even with 10'6" ceilings I am unable to adjust the laser light to shine on the middle of the car in a two car garage. This item is good for a single parking spot but will not adjust sideways enough to reach the center of two cars parked close to each other making it very difficult for the driver to see it on one of the cars.
