    One guard was installed indoors in the garage with no problem. The second was installed on the exterior of my shed. So far it has remained attached, but i>m not sure if the elements will have a negative effect on the glue backing, requiring a more mechanical fix.

    On the site I read for this specific product that the double sided tape does not last long or even hold at all. They all recommended extra double sidetape which is what I did and have yet for them so fall off. They are sterdy yet do not scratch the car. I'm really glad I got them.
