The Winland Electronics VAL-C Vehicle Alert Console can trigger a lighting system, alarm, or camera when a vehicle enters your property. It's a smart device which only detects metallic objects, such as a vehicle, which in-turn eliminates false alarms from animals, swaying trees, and people. The VAL-C uses a sensor probe (sold separately), that is buried six to eight inches beneath the ground. A wire, running as long as 2,500 feet, is then attached to the VAL-C Console so that the sensor probe and console are connected. When the sensor probe detects movement from a metallic object, the console's piezo buzzer will sound for an adjustable duration. In addition, the VAL-C Console can activate two auxiliary Form A Relays for triggering and switching on security lights, alarms, cameras, or an X10 based system. The VAL-C Console is easy to use and install making it an essential security attachment for your home.
