Essential Info

Use this sensor in conjunction with a Vehicle Sensor Console to create a reliable vehicle detection system. This probe and cable attaches to the Vehicle Sensor Console inside your home and uses magnetic sensing to detect cars as they pass by. No false alarms caused by people, swaying trees and people.

    This sensor probe is simply buried sic to eight inches underground beside your driveway and a wire is run back to the console in the house (sold separately). When a car passes by the probe, the buzzer in the console will sound for an adjustable duration. At the same time, the two built-in transistor outputs will close.

    Purchased to be buried with other lines, but ran conduit anyway. It helped to have it on hand to see what is needed for installation. No instructions were included with probe. Called Customer Service and got the help needed to plan the placement.
