great product easy to install

Great product and easy to install. The product itself is a little expensive. However, SmartHome's free s/h offer made it the most cost effective place to purchase.

I installed 96 16x16 AtticDek panels in my Attic. While they work best if your joists are pretty close to 16" on center, I found them to be pretty accomodating when the joists were a little off. In areas where the joists were closer than 16" I simply removed the alignment tabs (hand saw) so the panels would rest directly on the joists. The panels also had enought play in them to accomodate joists spaced a bit more than 16" on center. The panels were not as rigid as I had hoped, so it's a little nerve racking walking on them, but I'm well over the load limit and I haven't broken one yet. Looking forward to getting some clutter out of the garage and into the attic.

Best thing since sliced bread! Sturdy and easy to install. The extra storage space in the attic is well worth the price.

Attic-Dek is THE ANSWER to any homeowner who is "downsizing" like we recently did! Attic-Dek is easy to install, it is flexible, and it is strong enough to support even boxes of books! It is simply a great storage solution!
