Essential Info

Plug your appliance into the cold weather Thermo Cube and plug it into the wall. When the temperature drops below 35° the Thermo Cube will turn your appliance ON. When the temperature raises up past 45° it will turn your appliance OFF. Each unit has two receptacles for use with more than one device. Can operate loads up to 1800 Watts, 15 Amps, 120VAC.

    Use this Thermo Cube to automate self-regulating heat tape, heat lamps, stock tank heaters, pond de-icers, engine-block heaters. If it gets too cold in the attic because the pilot light blew out when gas service was interrupted, you can have it turn on a space heater. You can even use the Thermo Cube with a strobe light to create a "Freeze Warning" system that can be seen by neighboring homes or buildings.

    Great Product!! I use it to turn on a heat lamp I have installed in a "hot box" in my shed for all of my glues, caulks and paints. Don't have to drag it all into the house during winter. My wife loves it !

    These work very well and are a boon to our horse farm for keeping waterers open and ponds with an opening in the ice for fish and wildlife. Their downside is how difficult it is to know when they are NOT working. One doesn't prefer to have to check the ice constantly and hack through when the Thermo Cube fails.

    I bought two of these. What a wonderful idea, and they work! Nice to not have to worry about timers--they work off the temperature. I use them to turn on a light bulb around my citrus trees, when the temp gets cold here in south Louisiana (not often, thank goodness!) Installation isn't hard if you can push in an electric plug!

    Works like a charm here in fridgid Minnesota. We use our Thermo Cube in the chicken coop and haven't had any frozen water yet (and it's been -20). We had to place the Thermo Cube at ground level as heat rises and the water was freezing, but then when we placed the Cube and the same level as the water dish, we have kept the coop nice and cozy.

    I received the Thermo Cube quickly and put it to use. It is the greatest item for a green house. Even though it is only rated for limited power, it can be used to control a relay for any amount of watts you need for large current heater. Great item.

    I ordered two of these. According to the package, that's what they were. But they were not the same. One had "ON 20 [degrees] F / -7 [degrees] C" molded on it. The other said "ON 35 [degrees / 2 [degrees] C," but it did not work. I would like to return both.
