The Optex TD-20U Indoor/Outdoor Wireless Infrared Transmitter is an accessory used with the Optex Wireless 1000 and 2000 systems to enhance their effectiveness. With a built-in infrared sensor, this wireless transmitter can send alarm signals up to 2,000 feet back to Optex receivers.
The Optex TD20U infrared sensor and wireless transmitter has two settings for the infrared sensor: "Fan" and "Long Range Beam". The Fan setting is ideal for door and entrance ways, or even as a motion sensor mounted in the corner of a room. In the Fan setting the Transmitter will use a wide 17 foot detection pattern to track motion. The Beam setting will monitor up to 50 feet in front of the sensor making it ideal for wide driveways, parking lots or even as a perimeter sensor for your property.
