Prevent flood damage and avoid costly repairs with the easy-to-install Washing Machine Valve Shutoff Kit. This system not only detects leaks early, but it automatically shuts your water off in the event of a leak, alerting you with the control panel's alarm. Incorporate the Flood Stop into your INSTEON or X10 network - the control unit has two NC outputs and plugs with 6" leads. The Washing Machine FloodStop with 90 Degree Valves is also available with Straight Valves, sold separately.

Designed for both residential and commercial dwellings, the Washing Machine Valve Shutoff Kit uses a pair of automatic 9VDC 3/4-inch full port motorized ball valves to shut off the water supply whenever your washing machine leaks. The non-intrusive devices can be installed in as little as 10 minutes; no professional plumbers are required. This kit includes everything you need to protect your property from costly water-leak damage: valves installed on your hot and cold water inlets, a water sensor to be placed on the floor, and the control unit, which is mounted to your wall with the included screws. A power supply is included; you can also install four C batteries, (sold separately) for backup power if desired. You can even add multiple water sensors for different areas around your washing machine.

    Appears to be high quality and was easy to install. However,they left out one step. Make sure the valves on the unit are open when you test your lines for leaks. I assumed they were open and put everything back in place and discovered a leak when I opened the units valves.

    This shutoff valve works great. I've hadn't had a leak yet, but did test it with some water I poured on the floor and it shut down the valves instantly. Very easy to install.

    Hooked product up and tested with great results except when I turned the water on. I. Couldn't get the hose to seal and I had to take it back apart. Still working on trying to get the hose to seal

    Product installs easily. I have both this and braided lines attached to my washing machine. Had over $7,000 of flood damage a few years ago due to a ruptured washer hot water hose. Wish I had know about this product. I would have had only a small puddle of water to clean up instead of having to call SERVPRO for extensive clean up and restoration. Considering the price and my insurance deductable, this would have been a whole lot cheaper.

    I had a washing machine flood awhile back. This coupled with an IOLinc and appliancelinc (a little pricey to get it all cobbled together, ut it works great) shuts off the supply and machine - especially if the drain pump is running. Its a small price compared to last years repairs

    I am very satisified with this product. Installation is simple and took less than 5 minutes including attachment to the wall with included hardware. The controller is easy to understand, and the valves require no special tools. I am very pleased with this product and have already recommended it to relatives and friends.

    Overall the kit was very good. The front cover is a little flimsy and left like the clips (hinges) were going to break as the cover was opened and closed. Unable to unplug the connecting wires from the front cover to the back mounting plate which made putting the batteries in a little awkward. A few pictures with the directions would be helpful.

    The valves were constantly shut off. I manually "opened" them and they closed again. I disconnected the sensor and they still would not stay open. I had to remove the kit. I am very disappointed in the performance of this product.

    The quality is excellent with solid metal castings and components. This unit took less than an hour to install and was easy for any DIY'er.
