The UH-1BTX HDMI Single CAT5e/6 Sender and Receiver Balun Kit with HDBaseT consists of a transmitter and a receiver, which can support up to a 330 feet distance (100m) between the transmitter and the receiver by utilizing a single Cat5 or Cat6. This is currently the longest distance achievable for digital video over twisted pair. Video and embedded audio signals are transmitted without any compression to the remote for a 100% identical reproduction. This balun kit fully supports high definition video up to 1080p deep color, 3D and 4K x 2K and also supports virtually all HD and PC resolutions. This HDMI Extender offers a comprehensive solution for extending the reach in a digital entertainment center, HDTV retail or show site installation, STB, DVD and projector delivery. It effectively addresses noise, space and security concerns and facilitates data center control, information distribution, conference room presentations and supports school and corporate training environments.

HDBaseT Technology
The HDBaseT technology utilized allows the HDMI audio and video signals to travel over a single Cat 5e or Cat 6 UTP cable from the transmitter to the receiver. It is ideal for connecting consumer electronics over long distances for the transmission of uncompressed high-definition video, audio, 100BaseT Ethernet, high-power over cable and various controls. It represents a digital home networking alternative to standards such as HDMI, radio frequency (RF), coaxial cable, composite video, S-Video, component video, or VGA, presenting a feature set previously unavailable in the electronics industry. HDBaseT supports all TV and PC video formats, including standard, enhanced, high-definition, and 3D video.
