It would be nice to know if your mail has been delivered without walking all the way to the street through the snow. It would also be important to know when someone opens the side gate to sneak into your back yard. This sensor can do both those assignments and more! This Universal Alert Sensor sends a signal to your Solar Wireless Driveway Monitor, Battery-Powered Driveway Monitor, or 8-Channel Receiver to let you know whenever your protected opening is open. Mount to a door, window, garage door, mailbox - anything at your home that tilts or opens. The sensor uses a tilt switch to know when it's tilted and a magnetic reed switch to know when a door has been opened. You may also wire this sensor to any external contacts, either normally open or normally closed, and use it as a transmitter. Operates on one long-life CR-123A 3v lithium battery (included). Works with Solar Wireless Driveway Monitor, Battery-Powered Driveway Monitor, or 8-Channel Receiver
