This wireless home security system is packed with features to ensure your home's or office's security, yet is simple to install. Place the control console in a convenient spot, plug in its power supply, place the window sensors and passive infrared (PIR) motion sensor, and you're finished. It's that easy!
The system is controlled by a Smart Panel which monitors various wireless sensors in up to 8 zones throughout your home. When there's a security breach, the system's indicator lights and a loud 120 dB audible alarm is triggered. You may use an unlimited number of sensors to expand the system, like a
garage door sensor,
inactivity sensor (to make sure the residents are okay), and more
window/door and
motion sensors. You may also want to add an outdoor bell box with flashing light or an
auto dialer, or additional remote key fobs.
The Smart Panel is powered by a 110VAC power adapter and uses a
9v battery for backup in case of a power outage. There's a battery strength indicator on the face of the Smart Panel so you can monitor its status and replace it before it runs down. The wireless sensors operate only on
AAA batteries, and the LED on the face of each one will advise when its battery needs replacing. Sensor range is up to 490 feet (150m), depending on local interference and obstructions.
