Bought this in combination with the 2 Channel RF Receiver (Item # 7046A). I really like the form factor. It is small enough to not appear bulky (e.g. in your pocket), yet big enough to be safely held. Includes various size clips, too. Battery replacement requires a Phillips #0 screw driver. My only gripe is signal quality and I am not sure whether that's a problem with the transmitter or the receiver. The receiver was coded to use toggle mode (i.e. push on/push off) to operate a winch. It did not allow me to reliably toggle the receiver. I needed to wait for 1-2 seconds between pushes for it to work and sometimes it didn't work at all. This may be OK for lights, garage doors, etc., but was scary for my application, so I changed the receiver to 'momentary', i.e. push=on, release=off. Also, the advertised range of 500ft is clearly exaggerated. I was not able to make it work reliable beyond about 150ft with the receiver in unobstructed sight. Not a problem for my application, but something worth mentioning and the reason for the three-star rating. Please also refer to my review of item 7046A.
